East Riding Local Offer

In the East Riding there’s lots of support available to children with disabilities and special educational needs, and their families. You’ll find information about the Local Offer of support on their website. Whether it relates to education, health, social care or parental support, and regardless of who’s providing it, we’ll aim to point you in the right direction.

SENDCo:  Miss C Amor and Mrs N Brown

Howden Infant School caters for all children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our school aims to be a happy, caring and encouraging learning environment.

We have a whole school approach to children with SEN and disability and meeting their needs. Every teacher in school is a teacher of SEND and is responsible for not only the children’s progress, but their social and emotional development.

Our SEND Policy and latest SEND Information Report can be found on our Policies  page.
