At Howden CE Infant School, our vision is to see all of our children flourish as they live out our five key Christian values of curiosity, family, nurture, respect and joy. 

To enable such flourishing, we believe it is vastly important to have a consistent and positive appraoch to behaviour and as such we work to establish whole school routines that are explicitly taught to ensure all children and staff are familiar with them. This approach not only supports children in navigating the school day, lessening their cognitive load, but also provides familiarity during times of transition. Our behaviour curriculum is rooted in our 'Howden How to...' 3Ls strategy which is summarised below:
